Masterseek?

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with all of the new search engines these days. I never know which one is the best (although I suspect Google is usually the favorite). However, I recently heard about a new, different type of search engine that has come up. It's called masterseek, and it's specifically designed to connect businesses and allow them to share information, whatever it may be. I'm guessing they must be fairly new, since their website won't even come up. But so it goes in the technology age, you have to start somewhere. I look forward to seeing how Masterseek turns out.

Bloggerwave

Since starting this blog, I've been looking for ways to promote this site and maybe make a little money doing it. I stumbled across a "paid-to-blog" website, www.bloggerwave.com

The site seems promising so far. Although I have received no specific advertising opportunities so far, I found two open opportunities on the site. The first one is to write my thoughts about the Bloggerwave website. As far as I'm concerned, the site seems to be very well put together and I hope to hear more from them. That's all for now!

From Windows Live Writer....

Well, this is definitely something new. The setup of Writer is very classy, and of course follows the Windows Vista theme nicely. I don't have a whole lot of time to play around with Writer too much right now, so I'll keep you all posted on how the program works!

Windows Live Writer

Well that was pretty quick. I just wanted to inform anyone reading these posts that I will be using the new Windows Live Writer to edit this blog after this post. I have heard it is quite the program. This will give me an opportunity to review the software and hopefully make these posts a little nicer looking!

New Components Coming....

I am anxiously awaiting the components for my new HTPC/mini-desktop to arrive. The specs are:
  • Abit F-I90HD Motherboard
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 2.13GHZ processor
  • 4GB OCZ DDR2-6400 memory
  • Western Digital 74GB 10krpm SATA HDD
  • Western Digital 400GB 7200rpm SATA HDD
  • LG 18x SATA DVD-RW
  • Ultra Microfly microATX case
This being my first micro ATX build, I am quite excited. I have found someone who wants to buy the components and case from my previous homebuilt computer, so the added price for the new system was not a whole lot. I will write reviews for each of the components I mentioned when I have the system built, and I plan to review the new Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, which I will be installing on the new PC!
